Natural Resources Canada is no longer accepting new applications as of February 19, 2024. If you have not requested an energy evaluation between April 1, 2020 and February 19, 2024, you will not be eligible for the subsidy.
Natural Resources Canada has not specified how much time participants will have to complete their work and carry out a second energy evaluation of their home.
Eligible files will be forwarded to Natural Resources Canada if the pre-retrofit energy evaluation visit took place between April 1, 2020 and February 19, 2024.

As an accredited contractor, Tran Air Conditioning offers you the opportunity to obtain the Canada’s Greener Homes Subsidy of up to $5000. Created in 2021, this financial assistance program allows you to obtain financial aid for heating and thermostats, among other things.
What is the Canada Greener Homes Grant?
The Canada Green Housing Grant is a federal financial assistance program that reimburses up to $5,000 of the cost of eligible energy-efficient renovations, including the purchase of heating equipment such as low-temperature air-source heat pumps and geothermal heat pumps.
In addition, as of May 2023, the Canada Green Housing Grant program has partnered with the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program. This program covers the costs associated with replacing your oil heating system with a low-temperature heat pump, up to a maximum of $10,000. In addition, this program can be combined with a grant of up to $5,000 from the Canada Green Housing Grant.
