The mini-split heat pump has recently entered the Canadian market to provide comfortable cooling and supplemental heating during the winter. Also known as multi-zone mini-splits, they are generally more compact than the standard heat pump, consisting of wall-mounted, air-supplied units installed in several rooms of the house.
There is also a ductless mini-split heat pump (also called a ductless mini-split), which consists of the evaporator and condenser unit; these two units are connected by a single duct. The mini-split heat pump allows you to connect up to eight separate indoor air conditioning units (evaporators) to a single outdoor unit (condenser).
It is ideal for homes with many divisions, but also when you decide to improve the energy efficiency of a house.
