How does a natural gas boiler work?

The principle of operation of a natural gas boiler is very simple. Natural gas is burned in a boiler and the heat produced is transferred to a heating element, or “heat sink”. This is used to heat water or air, which is then distributed through a circuit of pipes that carry the heat to the radiator. The heat from the water is then released into the air and the water returns to its point of origin to restart the heating cycle.
