To receive financial assistance for the installation of these systems, a post-retrofit evaluation visit must be carried out before September 30, 2024.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>In addition, as of March 1, 2024, new registrants to the Novoclimat program are no longer eligible for financial assistance for the acquisition of an air-source heat pump.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<h4>\n<strong>*Please note: Don&#8217;t miss out on the new subsidies available. This program gives you the opportunity to obtain energy evaluation services at an affordable price and substantial financial assistance for your renovation work.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><b>What work and renovations are eligible for the R\u00e9noclimat subsidy?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installation or replacement of mechanical systems (ventilation system, water heater, heat pump, heating system and geothermal system).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What is the amount paid by the R\u00e9noclimat financial assistance program?<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the R\u00e9noclimat subsidy, you can obtain up to $3,000 for your renovation project. However, the amount may vary depending on the type of renovation for which you have applied:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/transitionenergetique.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/residential\/programs\/renoclimat\/financial-assistance\/replacement-of-doors-and-windows\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">R\u00e9noclimat financial assistance for the installation of mechanical systems (water heater, heat pump, ventilation, etc.)<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">*It is also important to note that the financial assistance for the installation or replacement of an eligible heat pump will be modified.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The financial assistance will no longer be a fixed amount.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It varies mainly according to the winter heating capacity of the installed system.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The higher the capacity of the heat pump, the greater the financial assistance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The financial assistance will be $50 for every 1,000 BTU of heating at -8\u00b0C and will replace the fixed amount of $650 currently offered.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What are the advantages of using the R\u00e9noclimat program?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Obtaining financial assistance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduction of energy costs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reduced drafts and cold spots<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improvement of air quality<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improved humidity control<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Optimization of the resale value of the property<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What work is not eligible for the R\u00e9noclimat program?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installation of electronic thermostats in various rooms of the home.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Installation of a central electronic thermostat<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Replacement of an air conditioner<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Repair of a heat pump<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any other measure that does not improve the energy efficiency of a home.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>An experienced team to advise you on the R\u00e9noclimat subsidy<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With a R\u00e9noclimat grant in hand, you can easily carry out your renovation project at an affordable price.
